The beginning of the Whitecaps lineage plays out much like a Disney movie. Twenty-three young men from rival high schools having to form together under one banner. Outside the cinema, this shouldn’t work... But it did. The 2023-2024 started with a humble goal: win half of every game that we played. At the end of the season, true to form, the team concluded their inaugural season with a record of 13-12. One game over .500. One game. The team with only five seniors. The team that had only met months prior. The team that had never met their head coach prior to August. The team that started it all. 

The following season (2024-2025) the Whitecaps welcomed another group of young men from Walled Lake Western. The team, now three schools strong, but still trying to establish an identity. New faces, new names, higher expectations… Many again concerned as to how more growing pains and the addition of another rival could fare, in addition to the loss of the veteran face behind the bench. The whitecaps underwhelmed in a 9-15 campaign. Changes were made. 

Now, the 2025-2026 team is looking to write what could possibly be the strongest chapter of the story. Thirteen victory hungry seniors in the stable. A new coach at the helm. Rebranded and rabid, the team is geared up for what could be the first ever Walled Lake United Lakes Valley Conference Title in our history.
